GunRangeUSA.Com began with a basic desire, "To Grow The Shooting Sports”. As responsible gun owners travel around the country, they often leave their firearms at home or simply don’t know where to go while travelling for work or vacation. GunRangeUSA.Com is the single-source solution to that problem. Our role is to connect gun owners across the country with shooting ranges. Our desire is to encourage lawful, responsible firearm ownership and use. We hope to increase the number of people who seek firearms training and education.
The Founder of GunRangeUSA.Com is CPT Jason Short, USA, Retired. He brings more than 30-years of firearms training, education and experience to the organization.
Founder & CEO Jason and Michaelle Short are the founding partners of Texas Gun Club, LLC where Jason serves as the company’s .Jason’s affinity for the shooting sports began in 1991 after enlisting in the USMC. He’s been an avid shooter and instructor ever since. Following active duty with the Marines, Jason served in law enforcement in Indiana and Kentucky at both state and local levels. He returned to active as a commissioned officer following the events of 9/11/2001 and served in Iraq and Afghanistan. His military career was cut short due to a near-fatal airborne injury. He retired from the Army in 2007. Refusing to let the devastating injuries define him, Jason set out to accomplish his dream of opening a safe, friendly and fun shooting sport experience. That dream is Texas Gun Club! Jason is an NRA certified firearms instructor and Texas License to Carry Instructor. He has trained with some of the best tactical operators in the world and is passionate about firearms safety and growing the shooting sports.
